The policy, in full

No manufacturer money

This is the only thing about this site you cannot check for yourself, so it is written down in full rather than claimed in a sentence.

What it means, exactly

Why it is written down

Everyone in this category says they are honest. The claim is free to make, which is exactly what makes it worthless as a claim.

So look at the evidence instead of the sentence: mouth tape sells enormously and is not here. Chin straps sell and are not here. Throat sprays sell and are not here. Each of those would have made a box look fuller and a margin look better, and each is excluded on What works with the studies named.

An independence policy you can only read is a slogan. An independence policy you can see in what is missing from the box is a fact.

What this costs

It is worth being plain about it, because a policy with no cost is not a policy.

The self-check routes some people away from buying anything, and it is designed to. The strongest-performing item in the whole evidence review is not sold here at all. Four of the most profitable products in the category are excluded. The site tells you which free measures to try before it offers you anything, and says outright that nothing in the box beats them.

That is the trade. Fewer sales, and a page you can believe.

If it ever changes

If any commercial relationship on this site ever changes — a supplier arrangement, a sponsorship, anything — it gets written on this page before it takes effect, not after. If you are reading this page and it does not mention something, that thing does not exist.
